Cairo Close Up is a one day adventure covering all the best sites of Cairo in one day! Including the Pyramids, the National Museum and a Nile cruise. The day starts early as you are picked up from your hotel and taken to Pafos airport for an 8.00am flight to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo you are then driven around town and shown the sites by your guide for the day. The first stop is at the ´Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali,’ the grandest mosque in Cairo that is still in use today and benefits from fascinating skyline views over the city of Cairo. You then proceed to the famous ‘Pyramids of Giza’ and the mighty ‘Sphinx,’ the highlight of the tour and something that is certainly regarded as once in a lifetime opportunity to view the great Pyramid of Giza, the largest of the three pyramids of the Giza necropolis and the only remaining member of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. |
