Cyprus is an island of contrasts. In an area of 3,568 square miles and with a population of Less than one million, you will discover a world of sun kissed beaches, mountain peaks, vineyards studded with olive trees, ancient ruins that take you back over time, beach resorts with lively night clubs, bars and restaurants, citrus groves and old stone villages, golf courses and luxury hotels.

Cyprus sits at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa and is situated in the north-eastern corner of the Mediterranean Sea. Steeped in History dating back to the Neolithic Age, Cyprus has an exciting and turbulent past which includes a Roman period, the crusades of Richard, the Lion heart, and Knights Templers, and Ottoman and Venetian periods. Much of this history had been preserved in archaeological sites and museums.

The weather is fantastic and only in Cyprus can you ski on the mountains of Troodos in the winter and in less than two hours sunbathe or promenade on the beach resorts of Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, or Ayer Napa. The people are warm and friendly with a tradition of hospitality towards strangers. Local food reflects a healthy Mediterranean diet and many of the Cypriot specialities are available in hotels, restaurants and traditional village tavernas.
